Taking your class taught me just enough tools and the incentive to sit down and do it! What I like about illustrated journaling is that the combination of techniques (drawing, inking, and watercolor) allow me to create something that I find attractive to look at." |
"And, if the image doesn't quite do it, you just add some words! I find that drawing alone, watercolor alone, or words alone produces far less satisfactory images. In other words, the whole is so much better than the parts."

Terry Parker took the Illustrated Watercolor class summer 2002, and in July she drew images all around the area where she lives as a momento to neighbors who were moving out of the area. What a wonderful gift! |
